Each line of data is sent and ended with a CR (carrage return) and LF (line feed). Connections should be made as shown below. Once Connections have been made, turn PRINTER power ON. Apply power to Control Electronics product and proceed to programming (see manual for assistance). When you come to COMMUNICATIONS setup, proceed by programming the baud rate (recommend 2400), an ID# if desired, Communication Address (optional, default is 'A', PRINTER does not use Com Address) and DOWNLOAD DATA TO ... selection to SERIAL PRINTER. You may program the system to print automatically or print ON DEMAND. When the controller is in the RUN MODE, press the UP button to access printer functions. Note: as of june 2005, all systems use the SHIFT button for this function. If the unit is turned OFF or a power failure occurs, the PRINTER will automatically reinitalized when power returns. No Special Software is required to DownLoad the Data. The data is preformated to print on a 2.5" wide paper strip.
